VERY Important ESA/ PSD Information In Regards To Living and/ or Flying:

Living:  With Your ESA(s) (Emotional Support Animal):

As more and more housing providers are beginning to ask for an ESA letter to not be older than one year, ALL licensed medical professionals must comply with the rules and regulations of the medical board/ behavioral sciences board, of only being able to vouch for an ESA letter that is active and current, and not older than more than 1 year. Having your animal(s) as an “ESA,” your housing provider CANNOT discriminate against your medical need(s) to have your ESA(s) allowed in housing. REMEMBER, your ESAs are NOT to be considered “pets,” but instead are your therapeutic medicine, and there are NO breed or size restrictions, just as there are NO pet fees you can be charged: ESAs are EXEMPT from Pet Rent & Pet Deposit as your ESA is your “medicine,” no longer your “pet.”

Flying:  With Your PSD(s) (Psychiatric Service Dog):

Despite what you might have thought and/ or have heard, YES, you CAN still fly with your dog(s) in the cabin of a commercial airplane, even though the DoT (Department of Transportation), “banned ALL ESAs” back in January 2021. However, according to their new rules, your dog(s) must be trained (whether by you, or a professional) to help you with your emotional/ mental illness, and your dog(s), when it comes to flying, will now to be called a “Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD).” ONLY Service Dogs, and/ or Psychiatric Service Dogs are allowed to fly in the cabin of an airplane, FREE  of charge, as they are not to be considered your “pet,” but instead your therapeutic medicine while travelling, and/ or for activities at your destination. Please Note: PSDs are for DOGS ONLY.

If you have a dog, and/ or are a member of the “Compassion Plan,” you will get 2 letters: One for HOUSING to LIVE with your ESA(s), and the other for TRAVEL to FLY with your dog(s) as PSD(s)!
- With the Compassion Plan, the initial sign up price is $199 (Covers 1 ESA/ PSD for BOTH Housing and/ or Travel), but the annual fee to update your letter is significantly discounted to ONLY $99.95! This annual fee discount has proven to be very nice for those who chose the Care Plan ($159: Housing ONLY) or Travel Plan ($149: Travel ONLY), are required to pay FULL price EVERY YEAR!
- Your payment on the next step will reflect what DOGtor Plan you CURRENLY have. Should you NOT have the Compassion Plan and would like to UPGRADE choose that options
- ARE YOU IN A RUSH? Just so you know, should you need to get your ESA and/ or PSD letter within 24 hours or faster, there is an OPTIONAL 24 hour rush fee of $49.95
